Thank you everyone for organizing, helping, cooking, decorating, donating to our Mother of Perpetual Help feast day. Despite the efforts we exerted at the Unity concert and the St. Cecilia festival we did not run out of energy. We were like the energizer bunny that kept on going, going and going…. I believe through all these exhausting activities our Mother of Perpetual Help gave us the stamina.
These coming months are respite periods for us to gather strength in preparation for the most joyous occasion of the year, our Simbang Gabi.
The board is thinking of another first this year, a Simbang Gabi that will be celebrated early in the morning, just like in the Philippines. The plans are in the works. If all the logistics, venue, priest celebrant and other details are in our favor, we will be able to push through with this plan.
Del Facundo is the Chairperson who will spearhead this event. If by any chance he would call us to volunteer and help, please extend a helping hand to make this joyous occasion a reality.
