May is for Mary…

This month, we have a number of celebrations in honor of the Virgin Mary.

On May 12, the Pilgrim Virgin of Fatima statue will be at St. Cecilia Church. This statue has traveled throughout the world including China and Russia. Referred to as a miraculous image, the statue has been known to have shed human tears over 30 times. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 AM with an explanation of the statue at 9:00 AM. The Vietnamese Community will host the statue at 6:30 PM and the Hispanic Community at 7:00 PM. The evening will end with a Spanish/English Mass at 8:00 PM. A flyer will be in the Sunday bulletin with more information.

*1. FCSC will participate in the procession by carrying the AVE MARIA.
Volunteers have to be at the church by 7:50 AM.
2. We will also lead the 3 o'clock Divine Mercy prayer.

May 13 is the anniversary of the apparitions of Mary in Fatima,Portugal. Our parish school will be hosting a traditional May procession and crowning beginning at 6:00 PM in the school parking lot. The rosary will be said in English, Vietnamese, Spanish,Tagalog and Indonesian.

*FCSC will have a table with the Pilgrim Virgin of Fatima.
Everyone is encouraged to participate.
